On 10 April the Timchenko Foundation will sponsor the international educational event called Total Dictation for the first time. Exclusively for non-profit professionals, the foundation will give dictation at the Blagosfera Centre. The dictation will be given by Maria Morozova, general director of the Timchenko Foundation, and monitored by Elvira Garifulina, head of the Family and Children programme.
The event will open with a premiere of a short film titled Promises, based on the story by Dmitry Glukhovsky to be used for the dictation. The motion picture is directed by Lana Vlady (winner of Kinotavr 2020). The film features Diana Pozharskaya, Pavel Derevyanko, Pavel Chinarev, Anna Slyu and others.
The event is free, subject to prior registration. All attendees will receive confirmation emails at the address specified during registration. Register now – the number of seats is limited.
This year, the Total Dictation event will take place for the 18th time now. It is an annual voluntary dictation test to promote literacy and the Russian language not only in Russia but also worldwide. In 2021, the project will be joined by 800+ population centres in 60 countries, such as India, Nicaragua, Peru etc.
