Updated strategy of the Timchenko Foundation for 2023-2032

Dear friends, partners and colleagues!

We present an updated strategy of the Timchenko Foundation for 2023-2032.

In the new strategic cycle, which will kick off next year, the Foundation will focus on small communities in two areas: Family Care and Development of Children and Teenagers. The Foundation’s three target groups are older people who are unable to fully fend for themselves and need assistance from others; underprivileged families with children; as well as children and teenagers.

“We will always measure our performance by specific changes in the lives of people: an elderly person has not ended up in assisted living; a child lives in better conditions; a family crisis is resolved. What is new for us is that we will monitor the extent of involvement of local communities in these efforts,” said Xenia Frank, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation.

The Foundation has projects in 80 provinces, and the new strategy will focus on towns with populations of up to 200,000. By supporting local communities in towns and villages, the Foundation will help improve the quality of care for vulnerable local residents and create a nurturing environment for the younger generation.

“The updated strategy gives a much better picture of the founders’ humanitarian priorities and the Foundation’s expertise. At the same time, it is predicated on society’s pressing issues and needs. After all, what we need today more than ever is solidarity at all levels and fully tapping the potential of local communities and resources, first of all human,” emphasized Maria Morozova, Managing Director of the Timchenko Foundation.

The Foundation’s graduates will still have a big role to play. Over the years, the Timchenko Foundation has sponsored 900 entities throughout the country, which will be able in future to serve as experts and mentors for other non-profits and as providers of training.
