Outcome of Immediate Circle research competition

Results are in for the second module of the Immediate Circle programme — a research competition. Backing will be provided for 10 entries, with a total of 19 entries submitted to the competition from 13 states in Russia. Among the winners are universities, teachers and sociologists.

The competition took place between 27 October and 30 November. It targeted experts and guideline developers with hands-on experience in elder care.

The winners of the competition will receive funding to describe elderly care practices used by Russian NGOs under the Immediate Circle programme. The next stage will be a description of the winning practices in the Immediate Circle competition. All practices will be placed in the public domain for sharing and adoption by communities, organizations, establishments, volunteers and action groups.
